Affiliations

The SSLRC is a sports league and is not directly affiliated with nor governed by any other sports league.  SSLRC is a non-profit organization and complies with New York State laws pertaining to non-profit organizations.

Mission Statement

The Summer Swim League of Rockland County (SSLRC) exists to promote competitive swimming in Rockland County in a healthy, supportive environment.

Purpose

The SSLRC organizes competitive swim meets for Rockland County Swim Teams and unattached swimmers to compete in the SSLRC summer swim league and/or Championships.  The SSLRC provides officials and awards for those meets.  The SSLRC season lasts from the day after the end of the Rockland county school year (in June) to the day before the next school year starts (in September).  The off-season is the Rockland County school year.
